enjoy the second part of the awwwwsome Super-Highspeed Music Cookbook - this time shot on the isle of fuerteventura in february this year (this time only with a canon 7d - how i love this piece)...
while we were stranded in some kinda german pensioners stronghold - fuck last minute offerings - we made the best out of it! as long as you got an appartment, a fishmarket next to it and a bottle of 1 litre san miguel beer at a price of € 1,59 - who is going to argue? NOBODY - that's who ;-] chillout for chillout-people!
to be copied, for taste's sake!
gambas (prawns/garnelen) at approx. € 8,- and doradas (gilthead seabream/goldbrasse) for approx. € 5,- per kg - man that's where I wanna live... although the flatrate tax of 5% on all of the canary islands shouldn't be misappropriated, making a pack of camel cost € 2,10 and even a € 100.000,- sportscar only worth € 5.000,- for the revenue office... i guess this is owed to general franco who started his conquest of spain from tenerife?! after the franco-era the canary islands got their own tax-autonomy... even now, despite EU and VAT! no matter how or why - FUCK ALL THOSE FASCISTS AROUND THE WORLD! I'd pay 50% of taxes if then our planet would be purged of you... alerta, alerta...

The Hunter S. Thompson Project
after I received the original ibm selectric 1 typewriter from the united states (many thanks to richard!!!), there were a lot of thoughts given to create a perfect environment for it...
I'll do some photoshooting of the selectric (the first ones have been built in 1961!!!) after it's cleaned and put in its final position, so there's only an internet pic of it for the moment...

but now learn how I created a fitting wall decoration ;-]] first take a look at the templates (23 DIN-A3 pages)...
it's done oldskool - shaded with a pencil on the back, then traced to the wall, because the room didn't have the required width to use a beamer or stuff like that. so I just had to trace sheet after sheet and as it didn't work out that well, there was a lot of free painting to do as well, but I guess it got quite nice - what do you think?
the finished work! the bat painted by ralph steadman (as seen on the templates above) is still to come or maybe not, because his watercolor-style is not easy to transfer into my black&white-contrast-style...
more to come the next weeks as the project will be continued...
